Hakuba's signature resort and host venue for the downhill events at the
1998 Winter Olympics. Several days are needed to explore the mountain, and there is something for
everyone to enjoy.
Highest elevation and longest runs in Hakuba.
Hakuba 47 & Hakuba Goryu
Sharing the same day pass, 47 and Goryu is another full day of
activity. On the Goryu side are some of the best learners slopes
you will find, while Hakuba 47 has some challenging terrain and
long fast rides.
Hakuba Cortina
Some of the best tree skiing you will find in Hakuba, with very
challenging terrain. We recommend taking the "big day out" tour
to fully enjoy this hidden treasure. A full day of skiing topped
off with a soak in the best hot spring in Hakuba ; all you can
eat / drink dinner.
Hakuba Iwatake
A resort you keep coming back to. Not just the skiing but some
of the best alpine views around. With 360° runs from the
summit, there is always fresh runs somewhere in the resort.
Small park are behind the summit restaurant. Little bit of
everything here. Great riu down through the White Ribbon course
to end the day.
Tsugaike

Hakuba's 2nd largest resort located about 15 minutes drive north of the village.
One of the longest gondolas in Japan. Lower regions are some of
the best learners terrain on the planet, while there is some
challenging stuff higher up. Great lift system with lots of high
speed chairs. 2 days may be need to do the whole lot.
There are a number of other smaller resorts in the valley. The

Hakuba Minekata, and Sanosaka.
